GET THE LOOK: white-on-white >

< WHITE-ON-WHITE >

Nothing says sophistication quite like an all-white ensemble. Inspired by 1940's fashion and the uber popular skort trend right now, I have styled this GET-THE-LOOK. One of my favourite eras of fashion were the 40's. To me they encapsulated a woman's poise, elegance and urbanity. This era featured strong feminine silhouettes and structured square shoulders - it's all about line and highlighting your assets.

I am a big believer in 'less is more' when it comes to styling, particularly where the issue of how much skin is on show. It is important to be aware of your individual shape and what body part works for you. For me, I am most comfortable showing-off my legs. Growing up I competed at national level for Sports Aerobics, so I have always been self-conscious of my arms (we all have our own Achilles!). Do what works for you!

STYLING TIP: keep your accessories to a minimum - this outfit speaks for itself. A simple pair of studs, a watch and some metallic bracelets will complete the look >
