Who knew a girlie catch-up with my high school girlfriend this weekend would unveil this hidden treasure! Tyranny of Distance is located in the heart of one of Melbourne's many illustrious food and shopping precincts, Union Street, Windsor. This quirky cafe showcases a gallery of recycled parts and artisan labour, from the tables to the table settings. Their signature flat-bread (with my fave poached eggs, spinach & avacado) did not disappoint! The TOD kitchen is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and features fresh, locally sourced produce - it is the ultimate Melbourne experience.
Address: 140 Union Street, Windsor, Melbourne. A 1 minute walk from Windsor train station and Chapel Street trams.
