Muesli Makeover
I thought I would share with you, this yummy recipe I
came across today. I religiously eat muesli for breakfast every morning and
LOVE trying new things. This is a healthy and balanced recipe to spice up your
mid-week muesli. Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS:
270g (3 cups) rolled oats150g pkt Lucky Add Nuts Cashews, Almonds,Hazelnuts, Sunflower Kernels, Pepitas & Pecans
125ml (1/2 cup) pure maple syrup
1 tbs olive oil
120g (3/4 cup) dried fruit, such as raisins,sultanas, craisins (dried cranberries), chopped dried figs, or chopped driedapricots
METHOD:
Step 1: combine rolled oats, nuts, maplesyrup and olive oil in a bowlStep 2: preheat oven to 180°C. Line a bakingtray with non-stick baking paper. Spread the oat mixture over the lined tray.Bake, and then stir occasionally for 20 minutes or, until golden. Set aside tocool
Step 3: add dried fruit. Stir to combine.Store the muesli in an airtight container in a cool dry place
